I hold and honor the moon as a great guiding force. The moon can be symbolic of our deep and our dark. The hidden, the mysterious and that place within us that is that houses our tender emotions. It can also prompt us to reflect and experience stillness. For those of you that are reading this and were a little surprised or even felt some negativity in how I interpret this, please bare with me. It will make sense soon.
Listen love, we've lived in a solarcentric society for such a long time, that many of us have moved away from the depths of our own self healing journey and to what is true and essential to our nature.
We've made sense of life by categorizing everything. Trust me, I know this works sometimes, but for empowerment purposes: we have to step outside the usual and do some good soul-work. It might feel safe, if we just leave it as it is and continue passing up that darker pathway in order to cling to the definable and the "proven". Sure, I suppose to some: going all dark can seem a little scary, but in my personal journey I have found such treasures, such meaning, and lots of healing. The thing is: living mostly "solar" is only half the journey. I understand the importance of light-living because for one: it gives us clarity, power and strength. It is such a faithful, reliable source that it's been central to worship for thousands of years. I agree that it can be a viable source, but the moon...the moon...
The moon calls to me. She holds to the sky in her luminescent skin, baring her vulnerabilities for the sake of subtle reflection. When she has reached her fullness, she holds her arms wide open to envelope the light. That bright light, guides us through the dark.
I believe soul-work is about wholeness. Not just one-sided, but all-sided. Not one usual result, but many unusual routes to the same destination or maybe a plethora of possibilities to choose from. It's about finally hanging upside down to see the world differently. What places can you tune into and do some treasure-hunting? Truly, my dear...gems are softly resting there. Let's choose integration. Let's embody this glowing essence. Come, be with me and together let's choose the Moon as guide, Nature as our compass.
